Four Calling Birds

The 12 Days of Christmas…

Because my plate isn’t full enough, I have decided to start a Christmas project. It will start December 12th and end December 24th (Christmas Eve). For 12 days I will illustrate an picture from the song “12 Days of Christmas.” These are going to be computer illustrations.

This will be exciting!!!

Two down, two to go!

I have completed the paintings of the dragonfly and the butterfly. I am very happy with the finished product.

The next two in the series are a fish and sea turtle. My sister liked the design that was on the fish and asked me to include it on the finished painting. That design was already in my sketchbook and I drew the fish around it while trying to flesh out an idea for her final painting.

My goal is to have these paintings done by Thursday.

Mother’s Eyes

This is a new piece I am working titled “Mother’s Eyes.” It has a somewhat different feel from what I normally do. I want to stretch my creativity by doing things I am not comfortable with or easy. hope to have this piece done by this afternoon.
